2/20/2023 0 Comments Night at the roxbury emelioPlain and simple: take human powered flight to unseen heights. Immediately hitting the drawing board, the team schemed up an app and submitted it to Red Bull. Edwin, Holly, and squaw assembled with the quest of pushing the limits of human powered flight. She walked up and swatted his last shot, waved her finger, and said “YO, you hear about Flugtag? It’s going to be in Pittsburgh.” And that’s when it clicked – human powered flight. Working nearby was Holly, who had enough of observing this daze. The evolution of aviation cycled through his mind. Tangent to tangent, his thoughts bounced from early flight, to powered flight, to supersonic flight. That’s when he began to wonder, “how can we change the game of flight.” Stuck in this daydream vortex, Edwin thought about how the early pioneers did it, like Lindbergh, who flew across the Atlantic Ocean. With his feet up on the desk getting absolute buckets, Edwin watched planes take off into the horizon. ‘Twas a slow day at work, and Edwin was shooting paper baskets.
